Cloisters - Roof Trusses are exposed throughout and help to define the subdivision of the roof voids into study bedrooms. Whilst these trusses date from the 1820's, one medieval truss survives, set at a lower level. This required a complex change of levels, just visible at the end of the corridor, to avoid any disturbance to the historic timberwork and a surviving section of original plaster and lath.
